Well it's certainly been a while but that's life. Doing some major restructuring of NG.net to better transition into a venue for my projects which is what I originally had in mind when I made the site.
Right now I just wanted to clean up the front page since none of the old stuff was being used, and to start chipping away at the restructuring a little at a time so I'll be more likely to jump in and keep at it.
Unfortunately business wise my absence has seen me let 'Synther' fall into indefinitely on hold status for several reasons. I'd still like to finish the project but I think the source material that it was made for needs to update first and get me back into the frame of mind I was in when I initially started work on it.
That's half the reason anyways, the other reason is I've begun work on something I've wanted to for a long time, and thats game programming. No details about it yet because it's still in very very early stages of production but I can say that something does exist in a functional form ;)! I'll hopefully be getting a dev blog up in the next few days to keep track of my progress as well as the launch of a subdomain for the project. A few friends of mine have agreed to come on board at basic levels to help out but if that falls through I never have a problem being a one man show :).

Note to self I need to move over the CMS technology I developed for www.virtualaddictions.net when I get back to updating the NG code now that theres more people using the site.

Well now that i have some more time on my hands i started up work on what will probably be NGS's first release. I've been working on a VB app that will provide expanded functionality to a game i've been quite involved with for the last few years and was the original reason i created the former Vanadiel-Pub site. Anyways the poject is probably about 50% done with most of the design work done and a good portion of actual working code already made, a good friend of mine from BETA has helped me out a little bit as he's a little more knowledgeable in VB than I am so a big thanks there.
As far as what this means is I now have a good reason to expand the functionality of the site and get the NGStudios area up and running so i can have a place to put this app up when i'm ready for a relase. Alot of my work tends to come in phases so once i switch back over from the coding phase I'll be in a web design mood and knock alot of that out before i switch back so keep checking back for an update.

Well not much has gone on since the initial launch, mainly becuase i ended up working on a site that i thought was going to close which is mainly why i ended up making NG. I still plan oon finishing all the sections but it will be more time determinant.

Busy week @.@ Got some time to make some additions to the site that I've been wanting to do, mainly the blog updater on the left and some actual updates to the blog system. Still need to figure out a way to do a decent gallery for the Art section and put up some stuff for NGS.

Well switched over the blog section to my own creation, still needs a little bit of work on formatting the posts but its a start. I also snagged my friend Kimber to do some freelance bitch... blogging since we seem to share very similar views on what we hate about people XD. Things still needed to be done; fix the post formatting, get the rest of the secondary pages up and some other minor tweaks.

Site launch with minimal functionality, testing my code and whatnot, playing around with the back end. Not too much going on right now content wise, blog is being linked to my current blog until I can either work out some RSS or finish working on my system. Updates to follow here when I get something else working.
